Yer that's why I canceled here and was keeping an eye out for an Fe as I knew this lands weekly and while a small chance its better than no chance, I was 19th in line for a Aorus Xtreme here and would still be in a queue.
Canceled almost exactly 2 weeks ago could have bought several cards in that time was hanging on for this in particular is the only reason it took so long.

Did ASUS forgot they also make the 3090 Strix OC? I have almost lost all my faith in getting mine this side of christmas...:(

Yeh same, ive resigned myself to a january delivery, I bet though we get to Jan and it still is nowhere near being delivered. Thats how poor ocuk and Asus are right now. I sent a email asking about my card 3 days ago to ocuk, have not heard anything back. I know ive said it before but this will be the last money I spend here.

Watching teardown on GN of the 3090 the back plates are utilised via thermal pads to cool the vRam which is why they get so hot, though rated for 110degC I wouldn't worry the reason Nvidia under clocked the 6X vRam to 19.5GBps and not the manufacture rated 22GBps is to protect them from over heating and throttling, so while the 3090 backplate gets super hot, it's meant to as its part of the active cooling of the card unlike 3080's.
Personally will be adding a fan on top of mine not because it's going to increase performance, you could argue it helps component longevity lowering temps on the vRam but Im doing because I can :D:D.

Well I dunno, past website we used for our clan a moderater/admin tried to get into members private messages and was removed and banned from the clan for snooping, I nearly battered the clown when I seen him :)
 
It doesn't mean they have access to your PM's (although they probably do, and there's nothing you can do about it)

It's just an autocorrect feature, probably used wherever you type it on the website.

Plenty of forums do it for swearing....I guess ****** is a swear word round here :D
 
Sorry I didn't explain very well the situation. OC did not contact me or ban me for referencing a competitor. They simply wouldn't let me write the competitors name. It starred it out similar to using swear words etc. Still it's a bit silly in a private message to do that as nobody else can obviously see. Anyway sorry for the misunderstanding. My bad

It is. People tend to use identifiers to describe competitors such as Rainforest, purple shirt brigade, the terrible customer service lot from Bolton etc...

Having been to all of the UK retailer sites, the prices here are cheaper for certain brands and everyone is having supply issues. They will be in stock when they get here, not much more any retailer can do if the product is on a container ship and the crew have to quarantine for 2 weeks before they can come into port (I work in the industry so am aware of a lot of the issues which most people are oblivious of)
 
Another week and apart from a message about asus cards, there has been nothing. Its not even funny at this point. I've never known a company to just go completely silent. Pretty safe to say OCUK have lost a lot of future business with how they have handled this whole situation.

A lot of people pre-ordered for a lower than the listed price now, so people cancelling suits OCUK
