Cards not listed above is because we no longer have back orders, a dire situation considering were more than six months on and stock is still terrible, our advice now is customers request a refund via the online form.
So as per @Gibbo post. There is a lot of information been released. But I’m not clear on it. So could someone help.
“MSI Suprim - 73 shipped, 19 back orders left - Zero incoming”
So the manufacturer has shipped 73 to OCUK, there are 19 people in the queue. But it’s the Zero Incoming that’s confusing me, does that mean there won’t be any free stock for others to purchase or that even though that 73 have been shipped, nothing will arrive at OCUK?
Thank you for explaining that and taking the time. This is a tad mental, obviously not OCUK fault. It means since the MSI Suprim was first ever listed on OCUK they have received and then dispatched 73 to customers. It does not mean that is how many they have incoming from the manufacturer, those are already shipped out to customers of OCUK.
They have ZERO stock of any card incoming for the remainder of this month except the KFA HoF.
Suppose it's gonna depend on what card you're waiting on and where you are in the queue. I'm sticking. Is anyone else going to wait for April’s news or are people leaning more to cancelling there orders?
Ah sucks, I wish you the best for next year. I can’t cancel even if I wanted too unfortunately. This is my first ever rig, so I don’t have a GPU at all.Cancel time, this is a farce. I'll get a new GPU next year or something.
Obviously, you're right. The 3090 situation is much less dire and I don't think any of the queues scream "get out now", although if you are at the tail end of a queue and you're not looking for cards popping up elsewhere then you're probably doing yourself a disservice.Suppose it's gonna depend on what card you're waiting on and where you are in the queue. I'm sticking.
If you don't need the cash in your pocket then there is no harm waiting it out since cancelling still doesn't mean you'll be able to get a card. What baffles me are those who are 600+ in a 3080 queue which has moved by less than half that in the last six months and still want to stick it out. Three times we've been told to expect supply improvement, three times we've been left upset. I'm no longer optimistic that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't just a freight train coming to mow me down.
Haha im the same with KFA2 lol
Conversely, I pre-ordered a 3090 two or three weeks ago and never received a queue update as expected. I made a post on the forums asking about it and was told updates would arrive on Fridays, however, Friday came and still no update. I made another forum post asking for a position update (as I had no information on my queue position at any point and wanted a rough idea of how many people were ahead of me) and received a prompt reply letting me know my position which was much appreciated. I still haven't had any of the Friday updates but that's not a big deal to me as from what I can tell by Gibbo's updates none of the card I ordered have come in. My advice to @BetwixtThoughts would be to make a (private) forum post with your order number/card type asking your position if you are desperate to know but otherwise just relax knowing that OC staff are doing their best to get your card to you as fast as they can. I'd also hazard a guess that if your position changes significantly you're more than likely to get notified. But I could be totally wrong here.
Hope you can get your card soon!
If you go to the customer service thread and post in there it will only be seen by you and the staff. It says private on the right of the thread so you'll know you're on the right oneHow did you make a private post? I managed to get in a preorder for an Eagle OC a couple weeks back and not recieved queue positions either. I would love to know where I sit in that list of 25 back orders!
I am sorry for your frustration. I myself have been trying to search for why production is still in a bad way. Unfortunately there isn’t anything on OCUK and even on tech websites, still nothing. When I was looking last night, all I could find was articles from October. The rest where stock trackers.Hello all this will most likely read as yet another negative post I am sorry for this as I know that most of us are in the same boat.
I started my 3090 journey November last year and my first queue position update was 20.11.2020 "You are currently in queue position 419" my current status 13.03.2021 "You are currently in queue position 147". I am struggling to find the posts from Gibbo directly but a very helpful customer quoted one of his updates and I saw this:
Asus 3090 Strix OC: 243 back orders left - 50 due in (175 shipped so far)
These numbers don't really add up..
I have been waiting all of this time and will continue to do so (why not I guess) but I would love the updates to be a little more detailed. For example for the past 3 weeks I have sat in the same queue position and I have not been able to find a post explaining any reason why factory production would have stalled.
As I ordered my card with a full system of parts my whole order is delayed. Does any one know if OCUK are considering shipping part orders in circumstances like this one?

Don't over-use it, but you can post a request for a queue update here and the OCUK team will help:

The numbers don't add up because many people cancelled their orders. This is why you've gone down from 419 to 147 (272 positions) even though they only received and shipped out 175 cards.
