*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

With my order for the ASUS Strix 3090 oc I've gone from 18 to 8 since the delivery of the 30, not sure if that's to cover RMAs or what's going on, but it's obvious OCUK are doing their best and struggling. Big props!

@Gibbo @ScottiB, reference Gibbo posting in the 30XX forum about where to go for FAQ’s, it’s mentions that there will be weekly updates on queue positions. Now I haven’t gotten any updates even when I placed my order. Someone previous did mention that the updates could possibly be for the 3080 series; but nothing on the FAQ pages indicates that.
Could one of you please clarify if the email updates are for 3080’s only or has there been a bit of a mistake? I fully understand the whole OC team are busy bees and you’re all trying your hardest to keep on top of things. So please don’t take this as a dig or me trying to throw shade. Many thanks.

We all get updates every Friday via Email. I have received many of these over the past 5 months for my 3090 order.

Conversely, I pre-ordered a 3090 two or three weeks ago and never received a queue update as expected. I made a post on the forums asking about it and was told updates would arrive on Fridays, however, Friday came and still no update. I made another forum post asking for a position update (as I had no information on my queue position at any point and wanted a rough idea of how many people were ahead of me) and received a prompt reply letting me know my position which was much appreciated. I still haven't had any of the Friday updates but that's not a big deal to me as from what I can tell by Gibbo's updates none of the card I ordered have come in. My advice to @BetwixtThoughts would be to make a (private) forum post with your order number/card type asking your position if you are desperate to know but otherwise just relax knowing that OC staff are doing their best to get your card to you as fast as they can. I'd also hazard a guess that if your position changes significantly you're more than likely to get notified. But I could be totally wrong here.

Hope you can get your card soon!

Not all, I got one the Friday after I ordered (about 4 weeks ago) but none since. There again there hasnt been any Gigabyte Eagle OC 3090s received as far as I know so no need to tell me that I am still number 4

I've never missed one, check your junk mail? - I even received them when I was the same number 3 weeks in a row lol
There's a bit of both. We have an internal app through which our general manager has to trigger the emails, it takes him a while because he has to do it line by line. So there is the chance of a bit of human error.
The app then sends to details to a third party who specialise in commercial mass emails, so some email accounts might flag it as spam.

Apologies if I come across as a dick. I think mine is human error. I’ve received nothing in my spam folder and 100% not in the normal inbox. Thank you though for answering.

I'd be very surprised if he makes the same mistake over & over again tbh.
From personal experience, I'd be less surprised if it was your email provider. I personally abandoned my old Hotmail account recently after emails from certain senders were constantly being blocked even though the sender was on my safe list. If anybody is consistently not getting updates then it's something that we should look into more.

I used an AOL email domain. Also I placed my order on 04-02-21 and not received any queue information, even on day of order. I have gotten confirmation emails of purchases and also shipping notification for one of the three orders I’ve placed (one waiting for monitor and one gpu)
Would you like me to submit a web note or use other means? I don’t want to clog you guys up as I know it must be manic and busy with you all.

What card is it?

MSI 3090 Suprim
ok, sorry for the delay. I got my answer.

Only cards sold pre-xmas are in the system for these updates, so right now, this card wouldn't be included. It's mostly just 3080s left now.

I'm fairly sure I tracked down your order from the information provided. You'll be 4th in the queue for that card.

Oh no need, I fully understand how busy you all are.

Roger that, that’s fair enough. Thank you for the answer and helping clear this up.
Also that is brilliant. Thank you very much for the help with this.

Evening all!

Apologies in advance for any naivety on my part in posting the following, but I would like to place an order for a 3090 card, preferably an ‘OC’ variant or similar. This would be part of a larger order with Overclockers for a completely new rig.

How do I go about actually doing this, i.e. paying for a pre-order and joining the queue? :) Thank you!

If you want overclockers to build the PC for you then this generally means a shorter queue since the build queue has a separate stock allocation, if you just want to buy/preorder a card then you have to wait till the buy/preorder option is on the cards page.

You can either choose a pre build system and configure certain parts yourself or if you want a full custom pre build then your best off posting in the customer service section of the forum with the all the specific parts you would like and state you would like a OC 3090 as I'm not sure which models they include for pre builds and they should be able to give you a quote on the price etc.

Lmao this thread has the best vibes.

Thank you for your excellent reply, @Joxeon — I am going to post a specific list request in the customer service forum as you suggested.
