He is the technical marketing manager of ASUS so he should know. But to be fair he only said the there were no none OC cards being made for the US and Canada market atm. But safe to assume that will apply to europe as well unless they plan to solely supply Europe with none OC cards in which cases the number of none oc cards arriving in the EU should be massive.

You can beat the dead horse all you want.. it won't change anything. People jumped the queue because OC managed it badly. It's done and they have now stopped (I hope)
 
Just cancelled my Strix OC - was something silly in the Queue like 384 so going to give myself a break from the palava of checking and waiting. Will just re-assess when I actually have to upgrade and see what the GPU market is looking like.

Deuse has lost this battle...
He won’t even reply to greebos comments.
He must know he should be ashamed.
And like Greebo said he should probably just stay quiet and stop
whining about his GPU as he and many like him (although they are less vocal) have pushed people like me and Greebo who ordered early without ****ing anyone else over further down the list.

Doesn't seem like good news regarding asus. Least I have the Zen3 to look forward to, hopefully won't be a **** show like this

I had like a three stage upgrade plan for my rig anyway. Want to do a full MOBO/CPU (on a 7700k that still suited me at 5ghz) GPU and re-do my loop and maybe a new case. I was going to do it in bits of pieces. GPU now, stripping out my loop until Mobo and CPU a bit later (yes I was aware there would have been some bottleneck). Going to wait and do it all at once now.

Yeah I’m similar still have my 7700k was getting GPU now then either going straight to Zen3 or wait a while and see what rocket lake has to offer.

I've had him on ignore for months and months.

Lol I probably would just keep my mouth shut and rubbing it in others faces but not swappers fault it’s OC’s.
Id like to say if I was in same situation as deuse I would tell OC “no I would like to go to the back of the queue” but I would be lying as I assume most of us would be if we said we would take the moral high road.

I don't think that's the issue so much as having the gall to whine about how long it's taking when you've already leapt a huge way up the queue

It would be like shoving in line 5 back at a midnight launch and then later shouting about how you've been waiting an hour and how ridiculous that is

Huh, might have to go have a peek in the 3080 thread to see if I can find out what a small ASUS consignment looks like
