Back on topic - Wouldn't take much of a price adjustment to make me buy that Gainward card. I'm not blinking first, don't have eyelids...

The PC is in the bedroom because it's a bedroom PC. This is logical. If I put the living room PC in the bedroom that would be weird.

Has anyone heard about Strix 4090 cards being released? I am in the States, and this card has not had a single restock that I can see since launch.
That won't be good value either though will it, i think those days are over.
Zero I'd say - because the AIB's simply don't have the margins that nvidia has on the Founders Cards. Also, those lower priced AIBs are going to be of a substantially lesser quality than nvidia's cards as the manufacturers look to save costs/maximize profits wherever possible.

You won't see value on any of the 4000 series until Nvidia has shifted the 3000 series stock and makes some price adjustments which imho they will but not until they have to.
A used 3080 will be better value than a 4060 for a long time imho.
My bedroom is my gaming room/office room/kitchen xD
I'm curios if prices will drop when nVidia gets hit by the AMD train.

Here we go again... I'll stick with my 3080 thanks. Don't fancy waiting half a year for a GPU again. And the prices are ridiculous as per.

Because the prices are so high. Even the 4080 is double the price i paid for my 3080 on launch week. Makes no sense to buy one unless you have money to throw away or it will be used in a production workload plus gaming.
