I agree with everything except the "meh waterblock". I think the OCool is one of the better ones out there unless you've read differently somewhere?
Just not my taste looks wise, all my wc stuff is black. I'm sure it'll perform as well as any of the others.
Have you seen the der8auer youtube review?

Looking at the price I'd hold out for an FE and stick a Corsair block on.

Yeah, I can get an overpriced "premium" model from any of the T1 players, slap a block on and still be ahead :) Will just run it on water for a bit which could be good to test it anyway. Back to shopping...
 
Hi @Gibbo, I Might have screwed up here. I spoke to customer services on Sunday, cancelled my ROG STRIX order and Ordered an MSI Suprim 4090, as it was in stock on the website and there was no communication on the stock of the ASUS Cards. However I have just seen your post about the 10 x ASUS ROG STRIX coming in stock, and I believe I would have been in the queue to get this card. Would this 10 have covered my pre-order? If so, is there anything I can do to get the ASUS card this week / next week? Thanks!!
 
@Gibbo As wife pretty much made me get 4090 instead of coming AMD (long story :p) I've put an order this morning for Zotac one (it still shows in stock), with Sat delivery. However, I added Corsair cable for it as well and haven't noticed it's now preorder only (it was in stock when I was checking a bit earlier). I hope GPU can be sent without it for tomorrow delivery and the cable whenever it arrives (free delivery is fine for that one)?

Send a webnote or call if its something urgent, Gibbo "might" see it but this isn't an official support channel.

Hi there, any clue when these will be in stock?

4090 shipments have really thinned out this week and demand has increased, not that it impacts you as your in the pre-order queue, Gigabyte have shipped very little volume and are not giving ETAs, I'd hazard a guess that they will hopefully have another shipment coming into the UK within the next 2-3 weeks which should see your order completed.
 
@Gibbo So seeing as you have all the Zotac 4090 cards in stock tonight, does that mean I'm going to get my replacement card now then? I rang support today to see what was going on and they weren't sure what was happening. I can PM you the RMA number if you like.

I had to RMA a Zotac 4090 Airo as it was locking up after 5 minutes of play even when only drawing 400watts or so from a brand new 1300w PSU. I bought the new PSU to confirm that my old 850watt PSU wasn't up to snuff. Going through all that troubleshooting ended up taking over the 30 days of ownership, which forced me having to go through Overclockers sending it back to Zotac for repair/replacment.

I don’t have access to RMA systems so get in touch with those guys tomorrow and I’m sure they will sort it out. :)
