Its basically just a reference card with a liquid cooler on.

I think now its been proven that two power connectors mean very little doesn't it?

EVGA's Hybrid uses 2 power connectors and in fact is the same beefed up 10+2 PCB used in the FTW: http://www.gamersnexus.net/news-pc/2457-evga-gtx-1080-classified-hybrid-ftw-sc-and-1070-at-computex

The HAWK by MSI though seems to use reference PCB.

btw Hybrid got 2 X 8pin . on youtube said that its same PCB as FTW

Pre-ordered two 1080 Classifieds today. Hope I don't have a painfully long wait..

Had to have my first classy(s) this time around, they just looked too tempting..

The Classifieds look so good.

I looked at some Computex videos and the EVGA cards look really nice and sleek from a side view (where you actually look at them).

The Hybrid looks like a beast. Can't wait.

I suspect the best value (esp. if 1070 are over £350) will be cards with reasonable open coolers (0rpm idle) but based on the reference PCB (= FE) at around £550 - which maybe won't be much worse in reality than the cards at £650 which have two power connectors and multiple phases both of dubious necessity.

Hi, I ordered the 1080 strix on the first of this month, and support has repeatedly said that "it will be at the end of this week" for June 10th and now the same for June 17th, the preorder page now states "1st july" as the ETA, will I be getting mine this week or in July?
