** NVIDIA GTX 970 REFERENCE EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE FROM OcUK IN EUROPE!! **

hi ,

Mine came today as expected it's of lush quality :D if its making any noise i can't here it over other stuff in my rig even when bench-marking, it totally destroyed my old card in 3D mark. i could definitely hear my old card over everything else, this blends in nicely.

i play at 1080p

frame rates doubled in wow

125fps + in bio shock infinite

pic of it under uv lighting.

The led visualizer not to fussed about it i may paint the letters with uv blue pen & catch the edge of the circuit board to match my theme, would that be ok wouldn't void my warranty ?

If you think it's fast, overclock it as these cards yield like an extra 20% performance from overclocking. :)

I'd argue the reason kitguru give for people choosing reference design cards - just nvidia lovers, really? Did they really not think it could be because they exhaust out of the back of the box so are a better option for sli on air? Not such a small segment of users then...

Our company group has sold over 1000 now they are proving more popular in Germany than the UK. :)

Good point i have not had a nividia card since 07, been with amd all those years also for people such as me with poor frontal air flow i have 4 hard drives up front , fan controller, dvd drive, and a dual bay res so the 140 fan i have is struggling to get any air thru. for me the reference design is ideal, all the hot air getting kicked out of the back.

also reference designs make it easier to get full cover water blocks if the end user wants to another good bonus.

Was wondering how that looked lit up, is the light controllable at all?

yeah there are a few options:

usually have mine synced with audio.
finally figured out how to get it to start with windows rather than setting it up each time.

So tempted by this card. Don't think my corsair tx 620 will cope though.

The guy in the Ireland was powering it with a 330W PSU, due to his Alienware PC having that, could swear that's what he said, watch the videos in full but a 600W PSU should cope.

Water cooled mine with a xspc 980 water block , was gonna do this in new year but couldn't wait :D
