Good job on getting the cards for the UK Gibbo

Cheers and for the world you mean? :D

Can you only buy it in the retail store in the USA or something?

I have checked every single GTX 970 on Bestbuy in the USA and they do not list it, so I am assuming its a retail store only?

Also is it really only $299.99 with tax?

P.S. without seeing one in the flesh I cannot state what if any difference there is, if it uses a 980 PCB like ours it shall be near identical, the only other difference on ours was the factory changed the containers housing the inductors to further help reduce noise (coil whine).

Hi there

OK asked NVIDIA about this Best Buy card.

They have informed me we have a worldwide exclusive as an Etailor and as such our advertising is in line as BestBuy have that card available ONLY in-store exclusively in USA market for high street.

So it is only available in USA and only on the high street from only Bestbuy.

Also complained how Bestbuy are selling it below what I actually paid, the response was buy 100,000 units at a time. :D

yes its 299in tax in some stores others are 379 as of people in US have confirmed

also it seems like it does not use the vapour chamber

also have seen it on neweeg but seems like an exclusive item when you buy a system off them

can we see 299 soon? like a special black friday or one daily deal.. would be awesome :D

would be nice to finally get to use this

You will never see $299 or £299 here in UK, like I say we pay way above that ($299).

NVIDIA say it is Bestbuy highstreet exclusive.

NVIDIA SLI bridges are USA only, were trying to get some but looking unlikely.

Our reference 970 will not be discounted, not even on Black Friday, were selling over 50 units per day. :)

yes im in the UK too.. I managed to win the 3-WAY SLI bridge in a competition..

hopefully one day ill get to use it :D

Just shows how much we get shafted over here :)

Yeah my toys came out the pram for sure. But that is life.

When I buy a Mustang, if I buy the UK version, it will cost me £10,000 more than just buying the exact same car in the USA. :(

I guess it depends if you want the steering on the wrong side :D

Don't cost 10k though and it don't bother me.

The way I am thinking now is I want the GT350 anyway, so will have to buy and import my own from USA, at least I save money that way, just no warranty though, so something to think about.
