** NVIDIA GTX 970 REFERENCE EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE FROM OcUK IN EUROPE!! **

No coil whine under load too? An MSI card I used started grinding like anything in-game but was silent idle.

That's how I tested, heaven at the air ship so FPS well over 100+, ear on the card, zero noise outputted. :)

Now upto 1500MHz core on stock voltage, seem that using 980 PCB certainly helps with the OC a bit.

Got upto 1540MHz core on stock voltage, any higher and it crashes.

Now trying some voltage to see if it helps get any more......

Dislikes voltages, max OC on stock voltage is 1540MHz core.

Extremely impressed with the card! Now to dismantle it and take some photos. :D

What are you using to OC? Presumably it doesn't come with any special software to help? How are the temps? I'm considering this for an H440 case, or would a third party cooler card be better do you think?

I already mentioned temps, read my post.

Using afterburner. :)

Just bear in mind yours could be worse or better. Mine seems to sit happily on loop at 1520/8200 artefact free with 100% fan. Not tried auto fan with an OC on it. :)

yeh relise that, but not too fussed if it does not clock that high as im getting 2 for sli so will proberly game at stock anyway

now showing only 6 in stock, must have been quite a few pre orders

Were still booking in stock as there is so much of it, but since they showed in stock we've sold approx. 20 units already.

Just had some professional images taken of the card of how it comes out the box:

Ah, sorry didn't look back far enough. So, this is looking a very good card indeed then! Overclocks very well it would seem. I'm still split though... how does this compare to the third party card/cooler options, especially as I'm in an NZXT H440 case which isn't the best for airflow. Single card though, no plans for SLI as yet.

In a small enclosure or in close proximity SLI then this offers the best cooling performance. :)

Nice! And it's got the proper full-perforated PCI plate too.
Just a heads-up; the PDF attached to the auto-generated invoice email was unpopulated (no order number, address, order contents, etc, just the unchanging letterhead, layout lines etc). The order shows up normally on the website, and all other emails have the correct details, so it looks like the PDF generator just borked. Might want to check it was just a one-off and not a general failure.

Am I right in saying however that the reference cards tend to run a bit hotter? Does that not mean more heat is emanating from the card therefore creating more heat in the case? Or is the blower design specifically designed to take all that heat out? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
