No coil whine under load too? An MSI card I used started grinding like anything in-game but was silent idle.
im happy with those clocks, just got my order being shipped email![]()
What are you using to OC? Presumably it doesn't come with any special software to help? How are the temps? I'm considering this for an H440 case, or would a third party cooler card be better do you think?
Just bear in mind yours could be worse or better. Mine seems to sit happily on loop at 1520/8200 artefact free with 100% fan. Not tried auto fan with an OC on it.![]()
yeh relise that, but not too fussed if it does not clock that high as im getting 2 for sli so will proberly game at stock anyway
now showing only 6 in stock, must have been quite a few pre orders
Ah, sorry didn't look back far enough. So, this is looking a very good card indeed then! Overclocks very well it would seem. I'm still split though... how does this compare to the third party card/cooler options, especially as I'm in an NZXT H440 case which isn't the best for airflow. Single card though, no plans for SLI as yet.I already mentioned temps, read my post.

Am I right in saying however that the reference cards tend to run a bit hotter? Does that not mean more heat is emanating from the card therefore creating more heat in the case? Or is the blower design specifically designed to take all that heat out? Sorry if this is a stupid question. In a small enclosure or in close proximity SLI then this offers the best cooling performance.![]()
