** NVIDIA GTX 970 REFERENCE EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE FROM OcUK IN EUROPE!! **

Am I right in saying however that the reference cards tend to run a bit hotter? Does that not mean more heat is emanating from the card therefore creating more heat in the case? Or is the blower design specifically designed to take all that heat out? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

They are designed to operate at 80c, so the card won't turn up fan RPM until 80c is reached.

Yes the NVIDIA cooler dumps all the hot air outside the case so in a small enclosure a 970 or 980 reference cooled card will run cooler as case ambient temperatures are lower. :)

Great, thanks for clarifying that. :)

I have 2 980 reference cards and there the best cards I've ever owned. These cards are great for smaller cases as it blows all hot air out the back of case. Temps are also amazing. If I was looking for a reference card I would buy these in a heart beat. Also you will not find a 970 titan cooler anywhere , but here. Nice exclusive here Gibbo :)

Yep we are getting emails worldwide from end users asking if we ship to their country.

Absolutely bagged this one! :D

Hi there

Just pulled the card apart, turns out the cooler is actually the 980 cooler with heatpipe and the board is exact same layout as 980 reference PCB making 980 reference waterblocks compatible. :)

It gets better! Would be interesting to see some pics of the glued inductors.

now if only they could be flashed and unlocked to a 980, that would be funny

does this mean it's the same vapour chamber cooler that was originally created for the Titan? or is it a step down from that cooler?

No Titan has a vapour chamber supposedly, though I've not dismantled to a Titan cooler yet, but the 980 and 970 cooler we have here are identical. :)

If no other board partner does this, then I can see these holding their value more than any other 970

Just ordered one of these, I'm looking forward to a coil whine free card :) Will report back tomorrow.

Hope you enjoy it and anyone who does have issues with these we will swap out no hassle for the simple fact we've advertised them as such.

Unless of course they are trying to power them off a Tesco value junk PSU then they need to visit our PSU section and sub section Superflower. :D
