Nvidia Montreal Stream

lol, start citizen, there using r9-290x's ain't they?

Sure I saw Chris at the AMD thing.

nope, Chris himself says he has a GTX690 and that is what the game will be aimed at running on, the AMD thing was just an advertising opportunity for them, they aren't using mantle, just allowing for the normal support items (eyefinity, crossfire etc.) there is nothing AMD specific to Star Citizen

Shameless plug for him then.

Nice to think of the nix crowd though

Too right Roff. I know some people like to scoff at Physx but I love it. Why wouldnt anyone want it added to games whenever possible. Yes it is under-utilised but for me it made borderlands and Batman much better

People like what Physx does, but just not that it's propitiatory. Thing is AMD are arguably worse by creating Mantle, something that is strictly inherent to AMD's architecture.

It shows how fickle people are as those that mock Phsyx praise AMD's proprietary API

Because its propitiatory. it only runs on Nvidia GPU's, most devs don't like alienating half of their potential customers.

Star Citizen is going to have full Physx support, colour me a happy camper :D
