Excuse my confusion, but from the end of that, am I to assume that the Nvidia promo during the "holiday" season will be 3 games (AC4, Batman+splinterCell) included with the purchase of a Nvidia card?

Hehehe,

Since 2007 when Nvidia bought Ageia, only 40 games support GPU Physx. Of which I have played only 1 title.

In addition to another 12 games that supported the Ageia PPU, released between 2005-2007.

To come with the figure of 500, probably used the same calculators that set their pricing for the GTX780 and the Titan

It was 500 copies

To be fair IIRC neither was public facing conferences - AMD's was an investor one? and the nVidia one is a dev conference.
