** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Maybe OCUK will let you jump the queue if your spending that amount on a full system.

I'd have said not, but then they did let folks change their orders and bump everyone else back in the queue.

Like going to the cinema and deciding you don't like the film you paid to see and so you push into another film and make someone else have to wait. So maybe buying a whole system is like buying a multipass that lets you gazump any queue you want. I can see that.

I have spent over £1100 with OC in the past month and it has not affected my position as far as I can tell.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that was the case when buying a pre build.

Some are saying this 2020 GPU launch is a "paper launch", I don`t see a launch at all. Considering the PS5 & XSX is due out 10th November, you would have thought Nvidia & and all the main GPU manufacturers would have got their act together before or surly by now, but oh no they decided to have a launch just before a national holiday. "China National Day 2020 (Golden Week Holiday) 1st-7th" This has not helped our situation, We just have to grin and bear it!

So how we all doing? LOL  ":D"

Take your pick: :D:confused::cool::eek::(:mad::o:rolleyes::):p;)

I wonder if the end of November date for AMD's Big Navi release is to do with competing against the console manufacturing runs with TSMC fabrication? I imagine Microsoft and Sony do not want to have their holiday season scuppered by some sort of Nvidia-esque situation?

Just spotted this on Gigabyte's Twitter:

3080 Stock Update
GAMING OC - Stock this Week
MASTER - Stock this Week

Due to factory closures last week, there is unfortunately a 2 week delay on new EAGLE OC and XTREME.

Thanks again for your patience, more updates coming as soon as we have them.

So looks like I will be lucky if I my Eagle this month since I'm likes 500th in the queue for one.

Be realistic, I am 33rd in queue for Eagle, has not moved since the queue was announced, there was not a single eagle that arrived at ocuk so this month is a pipe dream.

This is my issue with the whole thing. Gibbo has stated they HAVE had Gaming OC and Eagle's. A "small" amount of Gaming OC shipped last week apparently, yet my queue position didn't change and I'm 3rd in the queue so what is going on. I asked OC directly through email and webnote and got apologies but no answers.

We just need to be patient, it will come eventually. But thinking it's going to be this month, pipe dream for sure, maybe for you digital as you are 3rd. For us further then 20 I would guess November maybe?

Do you have to ring them up to find your place in que ordered a full new build so not really in that much of a rush but would like it this year

As I said to OC when I contacted them, I'm not fussed over an ETA I'll wait, what's bothering me is the lack of and mixed messages.

How can you send out an email saying I'm 3rd in the queue. Then the week after state a "small" batch of my card has been shipped out to customers, but I didn't receive one or have my queue position updated. So what happened?

Did the cards not get sent out? If so why did Gibbo say they did.

If they did, how many as I'm 3rd in the queue, so was the "small" amount only 1 or 2?...and if that's the case why hasn't my queue position changed? Other folk have had updated queue positions so why not me?

....or worst of all are they being sent out in the wrong order? I've already had a friend of mine report that he received this card already (same card as me Gaming OC) yet he didn't order until 19:30 on launch day, my order was 14:47 on launch day.

So what is going on? As I said, they had no answers for me only apologies.

Not like you will be able to buy one of them either :)

This youtuber has had success in the past with industry contacts leaking subsequently validated information. He makes the point that the current shortages are engineered specifically to give Nvidia a competitive play to make when AMD launch Big Navi. Time will tell if he's correct or not, but it's a compelling argument:
