** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Hey everyone, I'm new here just signed up.
I'm new to PC universe and ordered a 3070 ASUS ROG STRIX NON OC at 12:54pm yesterday. This was in the hope of doing my first PC build and I've been researching for months now.
Unfortunately for me, I had not realised that you could order cards that weren't actually available. I feel like an idiot now having read through this thread and seen all the tips, but again, I'm new to this so please play nice.

What should I do?? I haven't received an email about queue position or anything yet. I'm assuming based on feedback here that they probably won't have any of the card I ordered for a long time.
I wanted to build my PC for a lockdown project for a new video editing rig and for Flight Sim aswell as I'm in Ireland and in lockdown again.
Should I get a refund and just buy a 2070 Super or wait it out with my preorder and see what happens?

I would see if you can get access to PartAlert on Telegram or Nvidia Stock alert on Discord

If you're spending anywhere near 650 I'd be looking at a 3080 too.

MSI Gaming X Trio 3070 dispatched for delivery tomorrow from elsewhere, stock popped up today so jumped on it and already had my dispatch, happy days. Seems a very different approach from some retailers to only sell what they have in hand, but there's downsides to both methods too i.e. stock updates means you get lucky or you don't get an order. Preorder system at least means you can guarantee a delivery in the future.
I think im at said retailer wont let me add it though, sadly

I would expect you to get a queue update sometime soon, if not contact customer services and ask them. It looks like the 3070 is in slightly more supply than it’s bigger brothers so hopefully you won’t have too long a wait. Personally I wouldn’t get a 2070 as the 3070 is a lot better and if you can wait I would.

edit, just noticed you ordered the non OC variant. You may want to check with customer services if those are coming soon or not as with the 3080/90 Asus are mainly shipping The OC ones. If it’s a problem you could ask to be put on a shorter queue (but you will have to go to the back of the queue)

Thanks Martin I appreciate the advice. I would rather wait for it also, just worried it could be a month or two. In your experience here what's the likelihood of the non OC ROG Strix actually coming through?
I tried calling Customer Service twice today but was waiting over half an hour on the phone both times and didn't get through. I'll try again later

Yeah the Non OC part is the main problem. Initially I was going to go for the Zotac but heard not great things about their version of the 3080

How woud you know if you were in a queue and how far down the list you were?

I ordered a ASUS 3070 Dual and all ive got is "Order received - not yet shipped"
If this is in response to me, I don't know yet. But what I do know is Gibbo's stock update doesn't even include the GPU i ordered.
I have no issue with whre i am in the queue because I'd say im pretty high up. My problem is knowing whether or not they'll even stock the card at all.

Just wait it out till the end of the day. I’m sure I saw earlier in the thread that queue positions will be sent out at the end of the day so I’d just make a decision then. You’ll know then if the cards in stock and where you are in the queue

Asus 3070 Strix OC shipped 25 minutes ago. Just got emailed my GeForce Now and watchdogs legion codes as well.

I ordered mine at 12:54 so who ever is after me in the queue is in luck to know that it could be their turn hopefully soon.

I had a despatch note yesterday saying its coming today but not showing as leaving OCers yet nor any tracking

Had my hopes up

May I ask did you get two codes or one? As my email for those codes was quite confusing. With COD in the title while GFN and Watchdog stated in the content. Also stated two codes should be separated by comma but only one code appears
