** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

I cancelled my pny 3070 order as I managed to order a asus dual 3070 oc from another site yesterday and recieved it today

However, I'm having a nightmare getting it to work. Drivers aren't installing and windows boots but it just shows as a generic display adapter nut won't let me update it. Apparently a fault on windows and Nvidias side.

Edit : Hopefully the windows 10 update will fix it. :)

Been a while since last checked back here. Still no stock and same old ridiculous prices. Nothing changing.

Notice how the RTX2070, RTX2080, RTX2080ti prices havn't dropped either. Which fool buys them at their current prices? The desperate or the mentally retarded?

I bet 90% of the buyers here have a completely perfect gaming experience with their existing cards and worryingly many have probably taken payment holidays with their mortgages, secured loans, and other debts to ensure they can buy them. O well, been a **** year i guess. Enjoy!

Yeah, i have to agree. I got my asus oc at £10 higher than the standard pny 3070 being sold on here. It was also by random chance that i decided to check 3070 stock yesterday and saw it quite readily avaible on the other website so thought i'd purchase it.

fortunately for me, financially im good so had funds but can see many others definitely not being in the best financial positions, and for what, a single gpu purchase. Shame.

Yeah I can't understand all the inflated prices for old stuff too. Are people suddenly gaming mad lol?

Also I'm assuming the payment holiday on a mortgage to buy a graphics card is a joke, or do you know someone who has done that lol
 
Reading a few threads and people complaining about coil whine.
Why is coil whine still a problem these days? With cards costing double compared with what we used to think was expensive, why hasn't this been fixed?

Coil whine can be complex - short of going to LOL expensive components you can test and engineer extensively to prevent it but it might still happen in the specifics of an individuals setup with the range of hardware, power supply and nature of their electrical environment (ground, dirty power, etc.).

TBH though it isn't something I've encountered that often in all my years - I do wonder sometimes whether it is somewhat down to individuals and cheap PSUs or unrealistic load demands, etc. I've always tried to make sure I have ample PSU overhead and one area I've tended to spend over the odds on for my own setups and encouraged when building for other people, etc.

Yeah I have no idea why people buy from Overclockers I cancelled my order here .. best thing I did and secured a great deal on a ventus x3 oc at another site £50 cheaper

Just ordered a MSI GeForce RTX3090 VENTUS 3X OC 24 GB OC from a german site.
£150 cheaper then OCUK ;)
