NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - OFFICIAL PRE-ORDER THREAD!

Interested @ the gamerock being 2099.99, 160 above an FE for which I believe is their flagship model? Have a 3080 gamerock which has been rock solid for about 2 years. Not familiar with Palit support however. Would be interested in seeing what Palit price their gamingpro model at then. Must be quite close to the FE MSRP
I don’t see a palit gaming pro on their website.

4090 is 23% faster than 4080 in timespy benchmark.

So 15% improvement means it's 8% short of a 4090. Probably will equal it in some games, not in others..

But 8% short in performance for 33% less money would be an improvement in terms of performance per unit price.
That's on the low end of where a 4090 ranks against a 4080, which you'd expect given that Time Spy is a 1440p raster-only benchmark. In heavier games at 4K (and especially with ray tracing enabled) where the 4090 can really stretch its legs, the difference is usually in the 35-40% range (and occasionally even higher).

Granted, not everybody is playing at 4K, but I feel like if you're in the market for a £1000+ GPU then you're much more likely to be.

Either that TUF price is very wrong, or the Proshop prices are very wrong. I suspect Proshop is wrong, tbh. These prices are awful. That Palit Gamerock PCB will be reference, so by no means a high end card.

Any price leaks from the MSI 5090 cards yet?

Thanks for the update. Some of those are very specific indeed…

Others must be off… PNY more than ASUS? :p

I still can't wait to get my hands on a 5080. Coming from an 8GB 5700XT with no ray tracing and a few none gaming apps not liking it because "it's not Nvidea". This is going to be night and day better.

Considering what you're upgrading from, I'm surprised you're not considering the 5070Ti instead.

Imagine willingly paying £150 over RRP for a Palit Gamerock. Or £330 more for a bottom-rung Zotac. The shame.

I did think about it but then my Mum randomly and kindly gave me some money for Xmas I wasn't expecting so with what I'd saved I said I'd get what ever I could under £1k, saw the 5080 was under that (I know I'll end up spending extra for an aib....and a new PSU too) and thought just for once I'd go for a higher tier card, especially seems the PC I built for my Nephew out of parts now scores higher than mine in timesspy and my old man's PC I built him is miles ahead.
I'm hoping this will last me a fair bit longer as going mid tier and amd last time has really not worked out (8GB Vram and no ray tracing was such a **** up).
