NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - OFFICIAL PRE-ORDER THREAD!

Anyone changed there mind now the 5090 reviews are out? :D
Yup, me. Although that was more when I found out there will be single digit stock of the 5090. Not gonna participate in those clown games this time, I waited a few months for the 9800X3D to get in stock I can wait for the 5090

I have. Unfortunately being thick I sold my 4090 4 weeks ago. So will get a 5080

Same here. It was possibly ill advised selling my 4090 even though it was at a profit. Still a 5080 that gets me most of the way there for a lot less isn't so bad. Not completely ruling out a 5090 but super disappointed were going into another gen of mass coil whine on launch.

Ouch, although i understand the logic it must feel like a bit of a kick in the balls going to a worse card.. espically if you have to go the AIB route for a 5080 as that means more of a loss

I just got in from work so will dig into the reviews now. Yes and no to your question. I have been rocking a 3050 and honestly I've had 10% less experience than with my 4090 in terms of enjoyment. I'm sure that number would increase with Cyberpunk and Alan Wake 2, but honestly those are the exceptions. It's opened my eyes up a fair bit honestly.

This is how I feel after selling my 4090 and buying a 7700XT as a stop gap. No way I am spending 5090 money on a GPU again any time soon.

It may have been covered already, but there is an unverified post on Reddit saying that corporate customers have largely procured the retail stock allocation from etailers before things go live next week. That might explain why the cards are single digits and it would be a repeat of the Crypto shenanigans.

Surely that would be breaking the distribution agreement risking future allocations?

I imagine if a corporate customer lines up a deal to buy all but a handful of stock at 2pm on launch day it's much of a muchness. Etailers can claim low allocation, sell a few cards to retail and then build a pre-order list for the drips and drabs of stock as it arrives post launch vs any bigger supplies built up for launch day.
