First time I've tried to buy a graphics card since 2017...hope you are right

Hoping to get a 5080 today.

It's literally out today and STILL no prices!!! I've never known a product not have a price on release day before.
I'm after a 5080 but have a hard limit of £1200 plus add how few cards there are rumoured to be around this is going to turn into a mad panic.
It's not a small amount of money, we should have been given time to look at prices and decide what we can afford, instead it's going to be a mad rush to find one at a good price and grab it before anyone else!

If this is against post rules please delete, but the competitor has 5080s ranging from 979 to 1579. 3 cards under 1000 - MSI Ventus 3x OC, Zotac Solid, Palit Gaming Pro. I imagine the pricing on OC will be the same or competative. There will be MSRP 5080s and certainly cards under your budget. Hope this helps

ive seen used 4090 FEs sell for the same or more than a new 5090 FE msrp...

if you are luckily enough to grab a first drop 5090 FE theres a chance you could even be in profit if you sell your old 4090 FE
