Looks like the MSI Suprim is going to be £2,600 which is above the £2,500 limit I've set myself. Any recomendations on what is one of the better cheaper cards to go for?

I believe Gigabyte Aorus Master is going to be under your bar, and an absolutely brilliant card (have had previous models).

Either the placeholder is something completely ridiculous, like we saw with the £25,000 etc, or it's the sale price. Anything even "near" what the sale price is which keeps changing sounds incredibly disingenuous. A little bit like toe dipping the water.....?

Yep just noticed on the OCUK product pages it says:
"Pre-Orders for this product will begin after 2pm on the 30th January.
Models will be put on sale at varying intervals after this time."

Yeah, I’ll wait till those 5080 prices come down to normal levels once stock levels out. Some of these should be msrp.
