NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - OFFICIAL PRE-ORDER THREAD!

If the little "sold today" counter on the OCUK site is to be believed, then they've either sold or allocated pre-orders for 117 5090s today.
No chance they sold any 5090 today and must just be preorders. If OCUK had any stock today they would have plastered pictures on there social media but all i saw was a pyramid of 5080. Some of which they still have in stock

Well they already said they only had single digits before, so it's not massively surprising they'd just set them to pre-order anyway. Having one or two cards isn't really a cause to put anything in stock. They'd be taking it back off in seconds.

That said there was also the reddit rumour about corporate clients being prioritised. Who knows whether thats true, people say a lot of rubbish on reddit, lol.

I guess if you spend 1500 on a graphics card, you’d be silly not to divided that by the number of games you play and work out how much each game has cost you?

I’ve played 3 in the last couple years.. 2 just over Christmas on a console.

So on that basis. I’d be mad to entertain this madness.

Surely time spent gaming would be more useful? You might have played those 3 games for 10,000 hours.

It’s good to see ocuk price gouging on surprim aio to the tune of £350 more than another competitor sold it for earlier today.

I think preorders are deceiving also, if the wait was only gonna be a couple weeks I think there'd be hundreds more, but I think the majority of people will like me refuse to hand over £2.5k and have to wait till possibly May for delivery

So assuming I get lucky with one of the 5090 pre-orders today and it turns up in the next couple of weeks, I'm sadly still waiting on a rather important component for my build, a Lian Li 1300W Edge PSU, which is still on backorder. It truly is crazy times for PC parts at the moment, I've never known anything like it......

In contrast to that then I'd say maybe it'll come quicker if people didnt want to wait the 12 weeks the other retailer was stating. Hopefully its very soon.

So realistically, am I looking at +3 months of waiting if I place a preorder on a 5090? do OC take the payment upfront? that's a big opportunity cost if so.
