Same. Was totally locked and loaded on paying £2400 for a 5090.lbamd had one preorder since "launch" day. 9070 xt is a heckuva card for the price in the current market.

Squat sled AND an extra 100kg plates (which will last me until I'm dead) arrive this weekend, bought with the money saved. Insane I even considered spending that much for somethat is so close experiencially to what costs 2/3 less.

My sentiments exactly - first I thought it's going to be an obvious pile of poop compared to my 4090 and the 5090 but God damn this thing has pleasantly surprised me. not sure if that's because of my low expectations or low price point. either way I'm so happy. it feels like when I bought my 1080 Ti and my reaction was "wow this thing is gangster"

Absolutely this. You still get amazing performance and have a significant saving to spend on other things / save as you wish.
