Just had a browse through eBay at 5090’s.

Must have been some serious botting going on as there are loads on there at between +50-100% markup.

There’s even someone on there that has multiple 5090 FE’s, and I don’t know how anyone wrangled that, least not easily.

I’m sure I’ll stumble across a 5090 or a 9070XT at some point in the next few weeks hopefully, but it’s a tad frustrating!

There is loads of botting going on for all cards it seems.

There was a seller elsewhere with stupid prices on 9070's (non xts, lol!) that had 10 of each model.

Wow. As the other chap said, he must have sourced those out of a warehouse rather than a retailer.

I don't know. Could have been bots scooping up all the MSRP cards to try and make a quick buck.

Most of the MSRP cards seem to have ended up on ebay etc.

To be fair some ebay prices are starting to get cheaper than retailers, but that's because retailers are jacking up prices rather than ebay sellers cutting

No, I was #1 after missing out on two drops. Will have 3 5090s buy Thursday potentially . Wasnt the plan...

To be fair some [online store popular with scalpers] prices are starting to get cheaper than retailers, but that's because retailers are jacking up prices rather than [online store popular with scalpers] sellers cutting

A lot of the sellers on that site have actually been relisting their cards every 24-48 hours, with the price down £20 or so each time. The non-fancypants cards don't seem to be selling there for as much as the retailers (with proper returns policies in case of ROPs failure) can get away with. There's a Palit 5090 sat at £2650 (which was £2800 from the same seller a week or so ago) and an Inno3D for almost £100 less than that, though the latter has some potential-scam warning flags.

I'd flog one of them. Flogging two is a bit muggy though if you wait for it to dispatch when you could cancel.

I did the same with the 9800X3D. Ordered from here and the queue place as I needed 1 ASAP my new build to make sure everything worked and they both got dispatched same day so rather than muck about sending one back I sold it on Facebook. There's obviously some who would flame you for it but as you didn't buy with the intention with scalping, I don't personally see a problem with it.

It will also make the 5090 you do keep a lot cheaper

Any idea how many in the batch?

When I saw it drop, it was showing 15 left.

Weird thing is, I'd managed to place an order in a previous drop for the exact same card but it got changed to a preorder.

Even weirder is that after the drop today none of them appear to have been allocated to my order.

I wonder if Amazon is having this issue for a few people which is causing the drops to go so fast (alongside bots getting them).

My 5090 TUF OC from the place with the queues has moved from position 3, to position 1. Either they’ve shipped 2 out today… or the people who were no.1 and no.2 in the queue managed to pick 1 up elsewhere and cancelled?!

Still down for shipping on the 13th - but I’m expecting it to change tomorrow!

Didn't want to cancel the TUF in case the Suprim ends up an issue/pre order as has happened to others. Defo keep Suprim, return the Palit and could sell the Tuf I suppose...never thought about selling it stuff other than the bay tbh.

Yes, estimated date is shipping on Thursday. Last week it was estimated as shipping on the 10th - which is why I’m expecting the 13th to move again!

I started at p13 (which had no ETA for about 4 weeks), then 3, now 1.

Its just gonna be pushed back daily now till it arrives. Dont expect it to be here soon. Mine was due last monday and now ive been told via chat that its expected to arrive within the week while my eta is pushed back daily

Will send them a message tomorrow to find out what they think the ETA actually is. They did have an early shipment of around 9 last week so guessing they expected that shipment to be bigger than it was.
In the meantime I might keep an eye for any stock drops for a white 9070xt
