NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

One other possibility - slightly less mad than my conspiracy theory above - is that the supply remains so poor because the number of cards affected by the ROPs issue is significantly higher than 0.5%. Now the defect is known, Nvidia's legal likely will have told them they can't go on selling cards known to potentially be affected, so is it possible significant chunks of supply are having to be hauled back for testing? I think the ROPs thing broke after the "stupidly high stock in March" report, right?
Yeah that could also be a possibility. If I remember correctly early on with Chinese new year someone said they send them by boat and it takes a few weeks.
So, 3 weeks to get here and due to arrive this week.
3 weeks to get back to manufacturers
Say 1 week to test the batch and repackage any that pass.
3 weeks to get back to retailers.
This is almost end of April and if missing ROPs is a huge issue, this batch could be a lot smaller than it was meant to be.
5070 was also rumoured to be delayed due to production issues. If still no stock and not delayed again. I wonder if the 9070xt has them worried.

All speculation of course.

Looks like queue place updated the ETA for my Zotac 5090 Solid Non OC to 2025-03-19 some time after the 5:30pm update. I guess Zotac is starting to let retailers know when shipments are being sent now.

Question guys. Does the name on the receipt have to match the name of teh person claiming warranty. Having a debate i am saying they have to match but person i am debating with gave example of a dad buying something for a son where the receipt is in Dads name and son is claiming the warranty

Just seen a very large online store drop ASUS TUF OC for £3099, got it in my basket saw the price and bailed. At this rate i will just drop the gfx settings and go with a 9070XT for no reason other then i am peed off with Nvidia
Be mad to pay £1000 more than the cards rrp

I think it depends on the company. More likely that they will accept it if the last name atleast matches. I have bought stuff with my older brother's account before in his name and billing information and registered and claimed warranty in my name and they have accepted.
