I linked it in a new post on r/nvidia to query if legit and others had seen similar reports and it got removed instantly
Th wqas just a drop of RTX 5090 Astral OC. Paid slightly over teh odds at £2850 but at this point i dont care, worth it to not to have to keep lwaiting for the notification buzzer to go off. Delivery date 17/03. Hopefully it is on time or sooner
Yeah, saw that drop, it's not a bad price for that particular model, just not fussed about paying that much for a 5090 myself.
Oh for god’s sake, I suggested something like this as a mostly-joking conspiracy theory a couple of days ago. Obviously this needs corroboration, but it would explain quite a lot.

£3000 is that for the OC model? Just ordered mine elsewhere for £2850. Didnt realise i selected free delivery which is why it was originaly down to be delivered on 17th but website lets you amend order and delivery date so coming tomorrow for £4 extra
I ordered that too. Where do you see 17th March delivery date? On the order page it said 6 weeks. Did you choose free standard delivery?

I was rediculously chuffed when i realised i could change the date as my MSI 5090 with missing rops has to be dropped at postoffice by sunday. First time i seen a website allow that (change delivery)

Yes- but I looked at pre order laptops which said pre oerder and stock in a number of weeks, but still let you select next day. So not sure what happened, I'll see.
To be fair, it's £2889.99 on The UK Asus website, so you got it cheap if it makes you feel any better
