zotac solid 5090 OC drops, did Gibbo not say he would free upgrade Solid Non OC queue to Solid OC for free to clear the queue?
But still solid OC go on sale at 2600? on 30 Jan it was 2239. Seems like Gibbo wants profit more than clearing the queue
So Gibbo is not a man of his word :o:owhich i am not suprised

If you read what he said, this is something they would look into but not do immediately (if at all)
They are expecting stock of both cards and will only use the OC model to clear log if they don't appear to be getting the non OC they expect.

Also the card they got in stock was the top of the line AMP not the OC.
 
Had the Amp Extreme in my basket but decided against as seen a bad review re temps and noise due to small fans. The wait goes on
 
Cancelled my pre order a couple of weeks at the other place and after many failed misses using the alert app, think I got myself a Zotac amp extreme.
At this point, I don’t really look what the actual card but just went thru checkout as fast as I could without my glasses.
Fingers crossed for delivery and rop issues…

On 5090 Solid, this is an unknown, what I will say is if shipments don't happen but we do say get a shipment on 5090 Solid OC we shall simply upgrade all the 5090 Solid None OC cards to the overclocked editions at no extra cost to clear backorders, but we are currently hopeful Zotac will fulfil all our backorders in March. :)

In short if we cannot provide a back order, we will upgrade you to a better OC card at no extra cost in order to facilitate shipping, but let us wait as so far Zotac has only confirmed a Solid Core edition on only 5080 so we are hopeful the 5090 Solid will ship in more volume (we have 5 due next week) so that is a sign more will follow in March. :)

where are those Solid Non OC and Solid NON OC upgrade?

Nope what I said is we would upgrade them if the none OC was no longer available!
The none OC is still available and the back orders will be fulfilled, if Zotac inform me they won't ship any more none OC is when we will upgrade for free, but they are still producing so with any luck we shall have a shipment in coming week or two. :)
 
Pulled the trigger on a 5080 Zotac Extreme. Saw the drop and read the reviews vs price... and in this silly world it looks ok. Considering cant buy a founders and others are hundreds more for the same performance. Coming from a 6900xt and want the RT experience.

Think you mis read the post, think really you should make sur you are 100% correct before you start calling people liars
