NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

I read somewhere that the Astral's fan on the back is mostly what causes excessive noise. Maybe that fan could be dialed down with software.

The Asus 4090 Strix were also known to have pretty bad coil whine. I wonder if Asus has fixed it for this gen.

I just had an MSI Gaming X Trio in my basket at a competitor site but the transaction failed as my bank decided to block my credit card due to "suspected fraud". Tbf the way AIB partners, suppliers and retailers are selling these cards could be classed as fraud . Meanwhile whilst all this was going on the Rainforest dropped the Gaming X Trio for £100 less than the competitor site but it went out of stock as soon as I hit add to basket.

This part is mega short, we had a few around launch, but since then I think we have had literally only 1-2 units with no forecast for any more at present.
Got it, thanks! Very glad hundreds of cards are flowing in in the hands of gamers and enthusiasts. Good luck all!

They are charging more for this than what the Suprim Liquid not sure how that makes sense

Yeah me too. If i can nab a MSI Suprim Air for around £2600 or £2700 that would be ideal but the prices are just to dear right now £2800 is pushing it IMO and I still haven't seen the Suprim Air in stock anywhere.
My very early pre order was 2750 and that went up instantly. Can’t see you finding one for 2600

We had 60 Astrals, think they sold in under 5 minutes, crazy.
All others sold out also I think, expecting more Astrals later this week and we have several hundred 5090's due from other brands over next couple of weeks which in theory should clear every pre order we have left and leave stock for the website.
so more astral's will be be up on the website later this week? im interested in buying one. hope i can get one. the wait on the barcode website is killing me, they seem to be getting **** all stock.

It's ridiculous man. The Gaming X Trio is basically an MSRP card with RGB. Right now the Gaming X Trio is selling for £2600 - £2800 everywhere. The Gaming X Trio isn't even on the level of the Suprim Air. Should I just hold out a couple of months until the Suprim Air becomes available at a semi-reasonable price?

It's ridiculous man so the only options are 1. Wait until if and when the FE comes into stock and I can get one, 2. Pay around £600 - £800 more for an AIB with FE level noise and performance, 3. Pay £1000 more for a Suprim, Astral or Aorus Master.

What a day, 100's upon 100's of 50 series in today and nice to see some much better pricing particular with 5080's in stock from £1099 Inc and 5070 Ti's in stock from £799 Inc. :)

Those willing to wait I can see 5080 and 5070 Ti / 5070 series getting cheaper, reckon on the 5070 / 5070 Ti the MSRPs will happen soon, fingers crossed for those willing to wait a few more weeks. :)

Am I waaaay too late to join any sort of 5090 Astral OC or Aorus Xtreme WB queue?

der8auer has good video on adjusting fan curve and unplugging it, but not ideal.

@Gibbo Great to hear that 5090 becoming less and less a paper and more like a product.
Just wondering, any gigabyte aorus master coming in? The aesthetic on that thing is beautiful. Not sure If I'd just missed the launch.
