NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

My 5th in queue 5090 solid non OC is now dispatched from the queue site and is arriving tomorrow for only £2099
I think you just snuck in on that batch :D My queue position dropped from 15th to 10th for that model with an early April ETA (instead of May June).

The stock situation is getting better for the 5080 models, I see more in stock and a mixed bag on pricing (some good, some ugly).

my AORUS GeForce RTX™ 5080 XTREME WATERFORCE WB 16G is arriving tomorrow downgrading from a 3090 , probably be a complete disaster and set fire to my pc thats been working for the last 4 years perfectly , also bought a lottery ticket for tonight just incase £1449 only 49 over msrp

Is it the same block as the 5090? I don't actually know the MSRP of the 5090 version but sounds like it should be £2400ish.

i dont really understand where 450gpb extra coming from for AORUS GeForce RTX™ 5080 XTREME WATERFORCE.
surely wateblock can't be that expensive to make?! Alphacools Wb are 200gpb, and i'm pretty sure doesn't sell them at production cost, so where 250gpb coming from?!

Another place beginning with N and ending in h have the

MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC in stock for £2999.99…

Seems expensive for what it is

I guess it's a little less than that as I think the card underneath is essentially the Aorus Master. So they are perhaps charging 250-300 for the block which is high but not outrageous as some of the aftermarket blocks are close to £300.

I'd be happy with £2400ish for the 5090 version. Probably very wishful thinking though.

Insult to injury, someone is sitting on your money earning interest.

I'm ready to jump on the first card that comes in at £2400 or less, but those have been virtually illusory. My new 9070xt is serving me very well at present, but I'm positively repelled by the thought of buying another PC component for a while... I'd never buy one again, if I had the choice, after these abhorrant launches. This used to be fun, and I happily forked over money in the regular upgrade process. Now, I'm buying a 5090 so I don't need to deal with the absolute tripe and codswallop as much as for the performance.
Did you have to buy a 9070 because you sold a 4090?

I’ve dropped 2 places in the Aorus Master queue in 1.5 months. Diabolical stock sourcing. At this point I’d rather they give me the option of paying more and just getting in the next batch rather than keep waiting. It’s just miserable. And I still don’t even have an ETA. Useless all round

If I sell my Gigabyte 4090 and the 5090 FE, the profit would probably enough for me to get an Astral 5090 at MSRP but it's probably too much hassle lol.
