NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Check the return policy from seller , return window is usually 14 days or 30 days
well I emailed the retail reseller and said I ordered in desperation but my true desire was a 5090, they asked for pictures in which I provided, I explained that card is still sealed with its plastic seals and packaging, luckily they accepted the return, I checked their website and they have a 14 day return window, after that you cannot return unless its faulty, so I posted it this afternoon at a cost of £19 next day guaranteed special delivery

So I'm happy I havn't lost £300, oh actually I received an offer for £1200 from the £1350 I paid so I think people are willing to buy it for around 1200ish, and its not a top end brand

I did say I will include the original invoice for peace of mind

Get you're £700 5070's

Nvidia will come back swinging next generation I hope lol
well when the RTX 20 series were released they were priced very high, I bought my Asus Strix 2080ti for £1250

Then the 3080 was released for £699 after 2 years

We all know the 50 series has been priced as crazy high £999, so maybe the 6080 will be priced lower than the 5080, so might be around 799 with the 6090 1699 or close, based on historical pricing

Unless there's a total re-design and reduction of power usage I can't see me ever getting a 90 class card again. The 5090 is just......silly.

Pretty happy with my 5080 though I have to say, especially undervolted and overclocked. Apart from the ****** drivers and over paying for it that is  (MSI Gaming Trio)
