Received my 5090 TUF from OCUK, keep getting black screen flickering on my second monitor, even with latest version of the drivers. It's predominant when the other screen is in full screen windowed mode.

Anybody else getting this issue? Thinking of calling OCUK for RMA.

Is that with the latest hotfix driver 572.75 ?

That would be an awful move if true.

Looks like 8gb on the 5060 may be true according to techpowerup

I have experience with installing components, thanks.The cables are properly connected. I am looking to know if others have similar issues.

I also didn’t experience anything like this with my previous GPU (3090, 4090 et. al.). I’m aware that some 5090 users reported black screen issues, which are supposedly fixed in the latest drivers.

For context, I have two monitors: an AW3225Q (G-Sync with HDR) and a UP3221Q (without HDR), both connected via DisplayPort. I’m using driver version 572.70 (test before & after running ddu).
The issue happens when one screen is in full-screen windowed mode (games, netflix, or in fact any app in full screen windowed mode) — the second monitor randomly goes black every few minutes, especially when focusing the cursor between screens. I never had this problem with the 4090.
I am going to test running the second monitor via HDMI (w/ 5090 and via 9950x eGPU), but wanted to confirm if other have this issues. To be honest, this + lack of openCL support on 5xxx series is a let down, which makes me consider RMAing this gpu.

572.70. I wasn't aware of 572.75. Will check this out now thanks !

I am at work now but I use to get this problem. I will answer later tonight. The card is actually fine.

yeah it is 8gb on the 5060 and 12 and 16gb on the ti i believe. when do these actually come out though?

use the 2nd monitor as the primary one and disconnect the other and see what happens, also switch the DP cables over, that will establish if its your monitor or the card.

It a display port bug. I have 3 monitors but only actually use 2 for

use the 2nd monitor as the primary one and disconnect the other and see what happens, also switch the DP cables over, that will establish if its your monitor or the card.

It the AMD/nvidia display driver bug with 2 displayport monitors
