You can edit the 3 front fans curves and the rear one separately in gpu tweak. Just limit the rear to around 1000 rpm for example.Just started actually gaming on my Astral OC 5090 and I honestly thought it was going to either take off or blow up.
The fans, and the top fan in particular sounds like a bloody jet engine. No way I could live with this.
I searched online and saw others complaining about the same and suggesting flashing the new “quiet bios”. I tried this but am I right in thinking I have to use GPU Tweak to adjust the top fan?
Not great for the price paid. I’ve bought ASUS GPU’s previously and I’ve never heard something so loud to the point my wife couldn’t hear the Hoover because of it, with the exact same fan curve I always use.
Sorry if this has been discussed previously.

unacceptable for a ~£3000 card, and the LC version has persistence pump noise issues not yet fixed from the 4090 lc version.Just started actually gaming on my Astral OC 5090 and I honestly thought it was going to either take off or blow up.

NVIDIA Rolls Out New Firmware For RTX 5060 Series GPUs Since They Are Causing Blank Screens
As per several reports, the GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs are causing blank screens after reboot and to fix the issue, NVIDIA has released a new firmware.wccftech.com
Yeah, I changed from the LC Astral to the Aorus Waterforce and the pump is very quiet in comparison.unacceptable for a ~£3000 card, and the LC version has persistence pump noise issues not yet fixed from the 4090 lc version.
I’ve had a play around with this today and after flashing the new quiet bios and tweaking the fans in GPU Tweak I’ve found that the top fan is the issue. I’ve dropped it down to around 45% and it’s much more acceptable. You can edit the 3 front fans curves and the rear one separately in gpu tweak. Just limit the rear to around 1000 rpm for example.
'Fan Control' software also good for this.
Perhaps give them a call? How long do people normally have to wait for a response to a return ticket? I put one in a week ago for my faulty 5090 and i haven't heard anything from ocuk.

0.89 @ 2800 ish pretty stable for most cards. Can go higher but some work and diminishing returns in terms of fps/heat if air cooled.Any good guides to undervolting the 5090?

I’ve used the same fan curve for years because I’ve found previously that the noise is a no issue and temps are great. Why change it?Why would you use the same fan curve with a new card?
Firstly turn the quiet bios switch on (next to the power connector), then flash the quiet bios, next undervolt with Afterburner which is better than Asus GPU Tweak (0.895v & 2827Mhz). Also you can get +3000 on the memory if you download the Afterburner modded profile (google it).
My card is silent and tops at 65c / 850rpm fans
If it's still noisy you might have issues with case cooling intake and exhaust, if lack of airflow is causing the card to get too hot.
Also the top fan is linked to the bottom middle fan so it can't be controlled independently - they all run at the same speed.

I’ve already installed the new “quiet bios” as stated in my response to someone else on here and tweaked the fan (middle/top) and the noise is under control. Temps were never an issue either with this card, just the noise and it’s been confirmed by others.
