NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Ok, I need your opinions guys.
Today ive used the card in vr and tv gaming, probably 4 hrs worth mayb 5 and ive experienced one crash. Again it was in outlast trials and again it posted a ue5 crash with access violation.
Do you think I should push ahead with a swap if ocuk offers me that or do you suggest I test some more and see if more crashes r forthcoming.
If anyone is able to understand the Event Viewer I could post what happens there if needed.

Thankyou all for your help, this is a great forum
Reseating and swapping round your ram had almost solved your issue. Imo, another gpu will could react the same as logically, your ram is the issue, maybe the game, driver or combination. I'd just change my ram first if it was me but you could test it first.
Are you running Intel or Amd set up?

The 5060 Ti 8 GB performance woes go from bad to worse if you run it on a PCI-E 4.0 motherboard

These "low end" (not so low end in price tho) are nothing but e-trash that will be bought by unaware/clueless people as part of a prebuilt. 8GB VRAM for GPUs should be discontinued standard to reduce e-trash accumulation. Materials are getting scarce.

Bought the Palit 5070ti gaming pro yesterday for a decent price and got to say very impressed, Overclocks like a beast and runs very cool and quiet. :)
overclocks like a beast? i thought people dont overclock these days, like overclocking is old skool, these days new hardware runs top dog just out the box, plus minimal impact for more energy and heat.

Unless im wrong

obviously your wrong lol

I actually run it at normal speed with an undervolt for everyday use as I like to keep as cool as possible but I do benchmark as well so I like to see what I can get out of it. On the first day I got 2 x world best 3dmark scores. one on wild life and the other solarbay. Did I need to do that ...no, I just wanted too so there you go

Could get higher as I had no overclock on the cpu but just wanted to see what the gpu was capable off

Congrats, but if you get that result with a simple undervolt and not really being bothered, probably nobody bothers.

I take it you have heard the phrase" Like a kid with a new toy"....thats me lol.....when your my age , retired, sat at home with not a lot to do, also being in a lot of pain from medical issues you tend to find things to do to stop the boredom, testing my new shiny gpu is one of them ;) ...and by the way those scores were not just with an undervolt, it was with a 300 oc on the core and 2000 oc on the memory ;) Only the cpu was not overclocked so room for more if I am bored!
