NVIDIA: We’ve Had Sharpening in NVIDIA FreeStyle for Quite Some Time

Nvidia come up with a good idea so nobody else it allowed to implement it?

Let's hope Intel's new GPUs dont support any existing technology from Nvidia/AMD or Intel will also be accused of playing catch up.

A new feature of AMD that NVidia can already do. If you feel that way, why bother posting? I put this here for those interested and not those who are not!

Show me on the Nvidia settings, where is the filter to sharpen the texture. Because while AMD implements the sharpening either through developers using FidelityFX or automatically through the drivers, Nvidia needs to do it through filters settings. I am looking the GTX1060 6GB on the laptop, with the latest drivers, and this option doesn't exist. At least I cannot find it. So where is it?

Np found it, is on the Geforce Experience spyware....... No thanks.

Or you could use reshape

Or developers could stop being lazy

I wish we could get some standards in the game industry around which settings are provided to users.

Stuff like sharpening, depth of field, motion blur, vignette, bloom should all be optional in every game with the user being able to adjust or turn them off.

Reshape hits very hard the system.

Much like your original quote and run post?

I can delete the thread if you'd rather?
Do what you like. You posted nothing of use in this thread and just added to the crap that others are posting. If you have an issue with me, take it up in the relevant place instead of derailing my thread?

I feel it does a good job and as lazy as I am, I don't care what NVidia see that I allow them in truth. I use my PC for gaming and porn and that's about it :D

Pre rendered frames 1 on a gsync panel at 240hertz is 11ms total lag chain on Nvidia assuming your monitor and inputs run at 1ms max. So AMD have no toggle or what? I like the sound of the sharpening too but i already use DSR with uncappes framerates.

Something AMD can not do 4k downscaled at 240hz with pre rendered frames 1 for 11ms in total. This is why i do not buy AMD VSR is half an attempt.

We've not hit 1ms yet? I'm confused...

I did play with this feature on the laptop, and now I understand why Nvidia came out firefighting a feature nobody bothered to use all this period.
Is similar half arsed job to Gsync on Freesync monitors where the screen goes black for 1 second, any moment to click a new menu overlay in a game.

With Koduri on the Intel team I'm half expecting to see lawsuits from AMD over something he's copied for Intel, He's a shifty fella.
