Quick question. I have 2 Xbox 360's (one in bedroom, one in living room) and I just move the HDD between them when I use them.

If I download the update on one of them will the NXE be in place when I put the HDD in on the other Xbox.

Also, as we use the one in the bedroom as a DVD player as well, what happens if you start the Xbox up without the HDD in. WIll the old blades load up or will the Xbox just not work without the HDD in it?

I did read on one site (a few days ago) an unconfirmed report that if you transport the HD and disc to a second Xbox, it won't let you run the game from the install.
I'll be mighty annoyed if that's the case, but I'll find out soon enough.

God I hope that is not the case! I will be most annoyed as this is exactly what I do with my two boxes!

Mine has In these situations its always best to do a network test and you should be promted to download the update.
