NYC Hotels

I stayed at the Park Central nr Times Square at Christmas last year. 5 mins walk to TS and 5 the other way to Central Park. Away from the hustle of TS but close enough to get to. Subway right outside the hotel too.

Did you choose Multi stop option?

I just tried it and it said none available...Maybe I'm doing it wrong :o

You must be doing it wrong, purchasing flights is not difficult so I'm at a loss as to why you are having so much trouble.

1) Go to Britishairways.co.uk
2) Select 'Multi City/Stopover' under the destination drop down box
3) Enter Manchester to Boston on 4th August
4) Enter New York (all) to Manchester on 18th August
5) Click get flights

Select the flights you want. Get price of £779 per person depending on flight choice. This includes the domestic leg to Heathrow and back and the transatlantic portions. There is a wide range of available flights to pick, too.

There about 12 choices for outward and return - they are priced differently (and the BA site sucks). Just pick some of the other options, the majority are £800 or less. You've picked the one with the shortest layover which is presumably why it's the most expensive.
