Cant beat a mobo box mate, best value for your money you can get imo

If they are indeed pushing the date back, can they not extend it further and create a mesh intake for the front and top?

It severely starves the fans, and re: silence it would actually be quieter as there would be no resistance.

The mesh cut out could be made very well, retaining its minimalistic style.

As much as I like this case and want to buy it, I can't because the front and top are just too restrictive without needing to be.

So i take it you have had one and reviewed it and this is your findings?

several reviews have commented on the intake fans being a bit starved, and the poster before you has the h440 on the very bottom of a GPU Delta T chart, whilst im still sure it's a fantastic case (id have bought one forsure if it wasn't so delayed), no case is perfect

i did the same, you won't regret it, fantastic case! my white one looks beautiful and was so great to build with

it's not as wide as it looks to be honest, maybe 2-3 inches wider than a normal big full tower, but it's smaller in the other 2 dimensions http://imgur.com/a/D95U2

I know the case mentions ATX as been the max size motherboard but just a word of warning for anyone wanting to fit an E-ATX board in this case (Some ASUS ROG boards), most cases that are ATX will fit an E-ATX board as the motherboard tray is flat after the ATX standoffs, but not the H440

Some guy on reddit did a comparison with an R4 and there wasnt that much of a difference.

Nope, but this can be the conclusion without getting the case.

As has been mentioned in previous temp report, nothing good is going to come out of it. They've tried to make a 'silence' case, when infact the air pulling through the narrow gaps will make a louder noise than it would if it was just straight pulling through a mesh grill.

Shame really, same happened with the Fractal R2 IIRC - that used to run like a furnace... aimed at 'silence'.

They could have quite easily obtained the perfect case by putting a mesh panel at the front and top - ultimate cooling and silence.

I have decided to drop this case and go for the Corsair 760T instead. I don't really like the PSU being covered up on the NZXT, I have an expensive PSU with some nice braided cables that I would like to show off instead of having to look at some naff looking NZXT logo.

H440 White is due any day now.

H440 Black is due into Caseking at the end of April.

So the Black and red ETA 04/04/14 is blown out of the water then? I need the case before April 16th for the insomnia i51 LAN event so I guess that's the end of that! And I guess if I wanted to swap my order for a Black and White, you probably don't have enough?
