Does anyone have a rough guess when this case is likely to go live or could it be anytime?

Assuming it's under an NDA, for GPU/CPU these tend to be at 12:00-13:00 GMT, though wouldn't have thought they'd be so strict for just a case lol!

No stock I'm away on the ETA stock date, so will have to order once I'm back.

Hopefully by then they'll have the upright GPU bracket available plus the PCI-E riser cable!

The black ones were in stock, went very fast. Not sure if they ever had white ones.

Gotcha, can't see the upright GPU bracket or riser cables being even listed yet, so I can't build until then anyway!

One expensive case, once you add the required accessories for upright GPU mounting!

Morning, does anyone know how preorders work at overclockers?

I ordered the case instantly yesterday at lunch but also added the GPU mount and cable to the order….. so does this mean the case will be reserved until the other items are in stock and then all sent, as I have paid for all items.

Or does this mean that it waits until all items are in stock until it can send it all, for example the GPU bracket finally arrives, but now the case is out of stock so therefore has to wait again? But then the case comes back into stock but now the GPU mount is out of stock, this continues until eventually everything is fully in stock and could be a long long wait?

Yes, if you do nothing, they'll wait for all items to come into stock, then ship all together.

If you call them, or do a webnote thing and ask them to send the case separately (as was in stock when you ordered) they may accommodate you, I've had a few kind staff do this for me in the last.

That said, from now on I always order each component individually, in it's own order, to avoid this mess ;D

Hoping the upright GPU bracket and 90cm pci gen4 extension come into stock soon, my case is useless without it!

Cant wait to mount my 4090 strix upright, it's going to look so good behind the glass in that position

I cancelled mine in the end. I think I would have had too much dead space with just an air build, am happy with my North

For air, it only makes sense if you want to upright mount a 4090 size card IMO, as there's no other caase that lets you do it.

I`ve got too much going on now to order this now even though SWMBO says go for it, still undecided whether to upright GPU or sound card and vertical mount the other.

I'm getting both vertical & upright accessories, as I'm sure I'll change my mind at some point Plan to use the upright mounting option first though, be nice to display my 4090 Strix.

Mine arrived today, here it is next to my Phanteks Enthoo EvolvX.

So amazing to have a removable motherboard tray again - I love building a system outside the case. Not had one since the Coolermaster ATCS days, many years ago

It's all a matter of perspective...

I've currently got a Corsair 800D, so although the O11DEXL is ~70mm wider (substantial), it's ~80mm shorter & ~70mm less deep!

Who needs 5x optical drive bays in 2023 though Loads of wasted space in the 800D, it is a big beast though!

Indeed! Although I was using 2 of them (fan conroller & Bay res)!

Fan controller is old school, had one in my Coolermaster ATCS 200v2, wish I'd kept it tbh!

Have you built in yours yet mate? I'd just check the bottom side bit of glass on yours. That's where my chips/were and from that photo looks like you have the same but could be just the plastic on the edges making it look like that.

Not built mine yet, I'm away on holiday now so just had time to do a quick unboxing. It's the plastic film you can see curled over in the bottom of my picture, glass underneath is fine. Thanks for heads up though

Lian Li emailed me today they are sending me out a new front glass panel and new support pillar... mine was slightly bent. 18-22 days though lol. They could have at least apologised for the inconvenience but nope.. slightly odd.

Post on their social media and tag them, they'll prob refund you the whole cost for the case lol

Just a heads up guys, I have a few quality issues with mine, posted here https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/comments/16ntt62/evo_xl_quality_issues/

But also just discovered OCUK some how got given the old cases that were given to influencers. The commercial ones have slight revisions, such as holes in the back for easy release of the side panels. It's an easy way to check if you have a revised case or not. Unfortunately mine is the old one...
