o2 are pretty damn good considering the prices they offer! I've only used the support function once, but as a first line support, they were pretty damn good. I'm used to dealing with completely non-technical support functions, but o2 were a breath of fresh air. It was nice getting through to someone straight away on a freephone number and having them deal with the technical query there and then.
Hehe not bad??...id say your bloody good so far...havent had one reason to complain about Be...im hoping that you dont go the way other good isps have gone.
Im on Be pro and easily get about 20mb down and 2mb upload and unlike pipex, where i moved from...i actually get close to 20mb download speeds.
Im moving end of March and as I have a 02 mobile was thinking about going with their 20mb broadband deal, glad everything is rosey so far (did a postcode check also and thats come up ok)
What are their wireless routers like - any good, or better to buy a new netgear or something?
i'm on Be* also, been on them about 2 weeks and have been Brilliant so far..excellent speeds, i'm 600yrds from the exchange so have some big whoosh daddy 20mb...lol
I am thinking of moving to Be/02 from AOl. Unfortunately the Be website is one of several that is blocked on my AOL at the moment. Isn't that ironic, don't you think?
Why can't you get O2 broadband in some areas? cause I stuck my phone number in their checker and it said I couldn't get it, when I can get the likes of Zen, BT, Orange etc?
It's just a couple of my neighbours would be interested.
O2 (ergo Be) only use LLU, whereas Orange and Zen use a mixture of LLU and BT Wholesale ADSL.
If Be haven't put their kit in your exchange, you won't get anything from them.
