Installed about 7 months ago and been perfect for 6 months, but just in the last month or so it's been dropping out every now and then. Anyone else been having the same problems or is local to me?

In what sense is it "dropping out"? If it's losing sync it's something local to, at most, your exchange if not your line.

You need to actually be sure. Lights will go out on the router when it loses sync, and there'll be some indication on the router...

had the same problems today for first time. 06:30, in the middle of working from home, the connection dies.
The router control panel said something about "looking for DHCP server" or something.

Funnily enough, just happened whilst I was replying. I'd say it happens to me a few times a week. All the lights on the router go out for a few seconds, even the power one (it's not a power cut!).

I was having a few issues with 02 yesterday disconnecting but i swapped the filter and changed to the 02 router and that seemed to fix it. It didnt stop the issues of Day of Defeat losing connection yet i was still connected to the internet.

An here's the event log for today, it was working last night at 00:10, then i've come home from work today to find the router is on, hasn't rebooted but the internet connection is dead:

Is all the ip lease renew/rebind the cause of the problem? As in it doesn't appear to have rebound the ip on the final attempt.

Eh? Nothing wrong with those, you could push your line 2-3 meg faster if you dropped the snr (cant do that with o2 though). Looking at my f8lure graph I've had a good 6/7 chunks of packet loss today but my modems not dropped once. Depends on how good your box/firmware is, Bes has had stability issues so I assume O2 has too.

Rock solid connection, although it seems there's a much lower limit on the fec count this new firmware does :(

My connection keeps dropping in the evenings as of late. It's so frustrating. It's been dropping every night for the past 3 or 4 days or so. Perhaps it's the weather conditions or something, I don't know. It seems more like a DNS error though; e.g. Facebook chat will continue to work, I can still stream off iPlayer and indeed Spotify but every website seems to refuse to load!
