O2 issues

Absolutely does so support. Lovely cheap router and perhaps the best - if only it had voip as I much prefer the interface though the Thompson is excellent in every other way
 
Cool, well im bidding for one on ebay atm, theres loads on there, but loads of bids aswell. Seeing if i can get one for £15 incl delivery :D
 
i managed to get my DG834GT for £22, was complete luck at the time though as all the other bids were reaching £35+ by the time the auction was ending :D
its a great router though :cool:

right something thats weird

i think the problem is also the pc's wireless card its a Linksys by Cisco WMP54G Wireless-G PCI Card.

problem is the drivers, im on windows 7 64 bit. Before i was getting a ping of around 40ms, and speed of 6-7mb, but it wasnt stable and everynow and then i couldnt get onto the internet, the pc saying the server timed out.

Now i changed the driver, and the ping halved to 20ms (which is what im after cause of the whole gaming aspect. But the speed also went down to 1.5-2mb which isnt desirable. My laptop gets a ping of 11ms and speed of 7.5mb's, now thats odd seeing as its a 3 yr old dell? surely a pci card now is better?

should i make this into a new thread? dont know if many people will see it at the end of this one?
