Im just after some personal opinions here...

I was going to go for the 1 month rolling contract which is:
£19.58 per month including:
600 minutes
1200 texts
+ any bolt on
+ £23.33 Quidco
+ FREE £10 Money Card

but I found this on hotukdeals
02 12 Month Sim contract
800 Mins
1600 Texts
+ bolt on £19.58 a Month
+ £100 QUIDCO = £11.66 p/mnth
+ FREE £10 Money Card

I kinda understand what Quidco is and is it worth it?
I know their payment methods are BACS and Paypal but how do i sign up to BACS and if I do does it mean I can carry out bank transfers?
*edit* i've got another quick question about Quidco; if i go for the 123 month contract with £100 cash back through quidco with my quidco account and my bank details can I get a second contract (for my brother who is 17) with a £100 cash back with the same Quidco account and the same bank details? basically if i get 2 contracts will i get 2 lots of £100 cash back?

Thanks,

Flare.

You don't need to sign up to BACS. All you need to do is enter your bank details into the area in your profile for selecting your payment method then when you get cash back via quidco it will be transferred direct to your account. I've been using Quidco for over a year now and it's great.

You do have to pay £5 a year to Quidco out of your earnings, but that's a small amount to pay considering what you get out of it.

Ah right, thanks for clearing that up for me :)

And yeah, I think it's really good how they only take the £5 out of money you have earned and not directly out of your bank account. How does it work with buying things on line then, do you buy through the Quidco site?
*edit* im just looking through their merchants list, so do you just go on the merchant's site you want through the Quidco site?

ah right, easy enough then. I think im gonna sign up to Quidco! thanks guys! :D

Now can someone help me pic a contract! just had a quick look at the vodaphone ones and they seem decent but i have always been with O2 so i think i will stick with them

you might want to check the facts on the 12month £100 cash back offer, unless they've started it up again it ended awhile back. I was thinking about getting it while it was still on but ended up not getting it at the time.

Its started up again, the offer started on the 14th and ends on the 20th i think

Thanks for the headsup about these, just what I'm after myself.

Looks like I'm going to go for that £100 quidco 02 simplicity 12 month contract, as my 18 month contract is about to expire in October.

/quick hijack.../

I doubt o2 retentions would be able to offer me anything that good.

Just to clarify if anyone can help without me trawling through all those posts on the hotdeals forum. -

I'm with o2 currently and want to keep my number. If I use the quidco link, how do I make sure that my old number is ported over to the new sim? Simply ring o2?

Possibly yes, although I had a hell of a time getting mine ported over, I eventually managed it but ended up being charged around £40 cos they screwed my new contract up... It may depend on whether you got your original contract from them or CPW or similar.

ring o2 once youve actually received the sim and have used it for a couple of days so that it doesnt mess up the quidco. also someone else posted on the hotukdeals thread that they did the same and when they rang up o2 they transferred the number straight away

Thanks for that information.

Yeah I actually went directly through O2 on my previous two contracts so hopefully it should go smoothly.

Hi guys
pretty new to this Quidco 'malarky' so a few questions please
I am currently into my first month of the £20 o2 simplicity on the month by month deal

having just read this thread I have signed up for quidco and ordered the o2 simplicty 12 month deal from the link on the quidco site gone through the procedures etc

at no point do I see anything connected to quidco etc is this normal???

Once you've left the Quidco site by clicking the referral link 'Click here to visit site and earn cashback' (or words to that effect), there's no reason for you to see any reference to Quidco whatsoever. As long as you complete the transaction from the Quidco link it'll be fine :)
