O2 telephone interview (retail)

My advice would simply be not to underestimate the interview. You can be fooled into thinking a telephone interview is simpler than face to face, when in reality, I think the opposite is true. Also, you might want to think about dressing smartly for it - it may sound ridiculous as no one is going to see, but looking the part can put you into the right frame of mind and help you come across better.

Are you sure you were on the phone to O2 and not a nuthouse somewhere? :p

Haha that is possible, he was reading stuff out loud as well.

Well I passed and got a face to face interview next Thursday.

That'll teach me to read the whole thread before replying :p

Haha yeah. :D

Right people, since my interview is at 11 in the morning, if the weather is good should I wear a jacket or just shirt and tie?

Okay maybe this bloke wasn't good with computers, got a invite to another telephone interview on my O2 jobs accounts - 01-Jul-2011 15:54:45, so basically when my interview finished.

What a silly man. :D

edit---->

But now it's just gone. :D

Looks like he has put me down to do another telephone interview, got another email about one. And the place closed at 6 so I'll going to have to ring up Monday morning 'cos its closed over the weekend.

Mine last about 20 minutes. He asked me 3 set questions which were, a time where I've had to convince some one to my way of thinking about an idea or what ever. A situation were I've shown great customer service, and a situation where I've had to reach goals or have targets set.

It's really easy, write down some ideas of what you want to say and just make sure you go into detail and put emphasis on the thing you're talking about. Say the customer was really happy after I helped them out etc. It was surprisingly easy to be honest.

Yeah, it is easy, I had mine last friday, and got through it fairly easy, but panicked as thought the missus was in premature labour, so running around after her whilst on the phone was an experience!

All sorted, the very monotone and bored sounding bloke said it probably was the other guys mistake.
