I have an XFX 7950 GX2 Extreme, which as you know is SLI on a single PCI-e slot. The problem is that when I overclock the card a bit Oblivion goes all flickery, I saw this when I overclocked my 7800GTX SLI setup before too.

Anyone seen this problem before ? I dont think its the card overclocked too far because 3dMark05 and 06 run fine. any solutions ?

yep, its yet another bug in the game.

ive given up on it, ive had everything bugs wise.....from serious blue screen crashes to freezes to missing textures and glitches. From the DVD video, its not a suprise, Bethesda's head of testing is an 90 year old geriatric who can barely see the screen yet alone the bugs.

This is interesting - can you describe what kind of flickering you're talking about? I get texture flickering on certain surfaces in Oblivion, as well as other games.

I'm running 2x XFX 7800GTX XXX Extreme cards in SLI so they are overclocked compared to stock but by XFX not me. I did try underclocking them but it didn't make any difference.

My cards are also fine in 3DMark.

ive only ever seen this problem in Oblivion with an SLI setup, it looks as if the whole screen is rendered by the two cards and is not stitched together properly.
Not like top and bottom but every few millimeters.

I fixed this before by installing a newer NVidia driver but I cant do that since Im on the latest driver already.

as i said, there is nothing you can do about this bug. I have it, or had it, before i gave up on the game and shoved it in the wardrobe.
