Obsession

I follow Curry on his Shorts so nice to see he's managed to become a director. However whilst I enjoyed the film and it should be applauded for being decent on such a small budget, I'm not sure I think it's worthy of such praise, like it's the second coming though.

I was suprised to see Inde Navarette saying it's propelled her into fame. I saw her in Superman and Lois and thought she was a fine actress that would not be short of offers. Unless this was filmed before S&L.
This blew up massively, superman and Lois apparently only had 2 million viewers.

Far more people have seen obsession, likely 20 million and the scene of her at the dinner saying "No, No, No NO" went viral.

That may be true after the fact but she didn't know it would explode like this. Given she had on screen experience it a well known brand, I thought (wrongly) that she would kinda of think an unknown director in a small inde movie might have been a step backwards.

Maybe she was not getting the offers I would have expected after S&L

Finally watched it and enjoyed it, glad it's had the run away success it's had and hopefully it might win an award or two, I just hope with the success of this and Iron Lung Hollywood execs don't take the wrong thing from these.

First thing I've seen Inde Navarrette in and hope this pushes her career after her performance in this.
