"Uptick" is a new one, seemingly birthed into the public conscience by the COVID pandemic. Anything which is on an increasing trend is now "showing an uptick".

"Legacy hand" is one that is slowly cracking away at my sanity whenever I'm on a Teams call. The worst thing about it is that someone in IT must have originally thought of it.
