OcUK acquire new larger premises - operational from 26th May 2009

Looks a bit similar to COMPETITOR building in Bolton. Thats a large warehouse type building, and they've recently refitted the inside completely with self-service terminals etc, it's quite smart inside.

very nice and if you need some one to look after some stock for you whilst you move (ie a 7400/gtx 260 a mb and 4gb of ram) just keep me in mind :D

Grats on the purchase Spie :)

Glad to see my favourite computer company expanding!

As long as you keep your top notch service while you expand I don't mind what you do or where you go :p

Any future plans for other premises other than Stoke On Trent?

Large queues are common at our present address

Understatement of the week there Spie! :p

Good move (ironic that City link are on the same park...) I've long thought the old premesis made OcUK look like some kind of fly by night cowboy outfit which clearly they are not - a study of the fire plan shows just how many units you have! Its more like a tardis :D

Its a lot nearer to me than fenton also and I'd imaging parking to be a tad better.

Do you know how often the competitors @ Imex actually send people to you? - you'd be surprised mate. ;)

Nice to see you guys are getting a new place- having to jump over the large puddle in the under cover bit on my last visit to the shop was abit 'ghetto' :p

Very nice and will OCUK invite us all to the opening day as a tour around and a special discount on opening day only ?

I do hope one day OCUK will build another one in Telford area as Telford one of the biggest industry in town.

I had to drive to OCUK an extra miles now but I rather the shop to be biggest than the current small one.

Look forward to it.

Thanks for the comments.

The new shop area is not going to be huge. Remember we are mainly an Internet business and that's the vast majority of our turnover.

However, the new shop area will be much nicer with easy access, better parking and service will be much faster. That's what matters when collecting in person :)

Congratulations on the move. It’s about time you got some where bigger.
I have been known to visit your Fenton based site 3 times in a week, but as your move adds 16 miles onto a round trip you will not see me as often. and will most probably source most of my stuff more locally.
Good luck

Get posting so you qualify for the free forum shipping offer then you wont even have to leave the house. :D

Oh bugger it - that's far too close to one of my places of work - they're on that same estate, just on the left as you go in.

I'm surprised you've not moved before as I've wondered how the hell you get everything in your current place as that unit isn't very big at all...

edit : as an afterthought - I usually pop in to ocuk(fenton) on my way home but now you've moved I can't do that as often. Could you drop it into my company on that estate and they'll courier it to me (well, I say courier we've got our own van/lorry drivers) to save on postage, and more importantly, TIME! (I need my fix there and then ;) )

More local than 7 miles away? There isn't anyone. There are a few smaller dealers but they either don't have our range or our low prices or both.

haha thats rather awsome its going to be quite close to where im living next year. Ive never visited ocuk shop before even tho im rather close (Keele Uni). Might have to pay a visit.

I've been shopping with OCUK since about 2001.

Will you be branching out into consultancy services? Taking on MS Partners etc?

Also show us the new server room :)
