Worst game of the year

Red Orchestra 2 , not just because at first it ran so poorly but it was released badly and not one company this year has released so many roll back patches. The developers as far as i'm concerned where so stuck up and arrogant which really didn't help matters!

Can't disagree at all. Skyrim absolutely amazing, RO2, absolute pump.

Honourable mention for BF3 as best game, and MW3 as worst.

Best: Skyrim by a mile with a nod to Deus Ex and Portal 2

Worst: Easy- Dragon Age 2!

Biggest letdowns(because of hype)- Rage and The Witcher 2

mmm Probably Skyrim for me, worst has to go to Crysis2 and Rage ,games i was looking forward to that ended up being dire.

Best: Blackwell Deception, closely followed by Gemini Rue. Great games with top stories, great voice acting and tons of atmosphere.
Worst: Lonesome Road DLC for Fallout New Vegas. Short, Linear, and didn't actually resolve anything.

Worst: Stronghold - didnt like it at all, interface was bit crappy, gameplay just boring.

Best - Skyrim, given me a lot of entertainment for the money.

Worst - F1 2011. Bought it hoping it would fix all the problems from 2010, plus adding a lot more content/features. In reality, it didn't add much at all and a lot of the bugs were still present. Just re-released the same game pretty much, and I fell for it. 2012 will not be on my buy list.

I had f1 2010 and thought it was lacking the game modes etc but after reading about 2011 not being much differernt didnt buy it.

I just completed Bastion, and yes its actually incredible ..... I have to definitely say that over Skyrim now.

Zia's song and the ending were are just phenomenal. When it first started out, I really didnt get the story part, it was just some old guy blabbering on and on about a load of nonsense. But by the end I couldnt believe how much I had gotten drawn into and immersed by the story, artwork, and music in the game.

I haven't played Skyrim, not my sort of game. I played FO3/Oblivion a bit but never got on with the whole "FPS meets RPG" style of game. I guess it is instinct in that if I'm presented with an FPS layout, I want to blast on people. Not walk around in a village and talk to people about the potential of being allowed to blast on fools, when I've finished interacting with the rest of the damn village

Having said this, with so many OcUK voices saying its GOTY I might give it a go.

Best: BF3
Worst: DNF

BF3 - Looks amazing, a few issues but is slowly getting there with patches and DLC. Great fun, so much to do. I think calling it a port is a little harsh. PC Gamers get so much more out of it than console people.

DNF - Never was going to live up to hype.

GOTY: Skyrim - Difficult as so many good games have come out in the last couple of months that I haven't had time to play. Skyrim just pips Dark Souls which just pips Dead Island.

Worst: Don't really have time to buy turkeys so I'm normally pretty sure I'll like it before I buy. Most disappointing would be Dragon Age 2 by a mile.
