Stuck at 220mhz.? Won't it go higher on the multi? If the actual voltage was only 1.385 you could go higher. :D

It might do but I just arbitrarily thought I'd see how far it could go on 1.39v, plus temps are nice and manageable. I'm still getting to grips with this ancient X58 stuff.
yes, it is much more fun to tweak and mess around with than newer stuff, but it does take a bit of getting used to.It might do but I just arbitrarily thought I'd see how far it could go on 1.39v, plus temps are nice and manageable. I'm still getting to grips with this ancient X58 stuff.

i really like x58.
Congrats on the record 8 pack that's an insane score.Great score for a 2500k though you should have run the single core bench as well as this is where it would shine.bought off the forum here. a bit better than my last one![]()
I was going to do that but I have bought another one from America that does 5.7ghz so I might not bother benchmarking this one any further.Great score for a 2500k though you should have run the single core bench as well as this is where it would shine.
you got the number the wrong way roundA rather more conservative overclock than the last few posts.![]()
its suppose to be 5.4ghz not 4.5ghz
even though it was nearer 4.6ghzthat is a shame. i did the 2500K run on air, but they run super cool and they are solderedMy £20 cooler says NO!![]()
