OCUK Civilized South-Eastern Lunch MkIV (Now with more E46 M3?)

Was a great meet, nice to see so many people, and catch up with the old faces :) And thanks to Wyatt and James for the passenger rides in the A45 and R8. Epic cars!

Geekman, had a chat with my friend at the workshop and the 3S-GTE engine we have has a spun bottom end bearing so bottom end will need to rebuild, so don't think I can help you with your quest for a working one on the cheap :(
I'll keep me eye out in case I can find one and let you know

320 miles on the trip computer today, pretty standard "just going out for lunch" mileage ;)

Was worth it though, great to see the old and new faces, some TT arches and a general catch up.

Sorry if anyone didn't get a ride who wanted one, next time you have to just jump in the car and sit there like Howard  :D

I like in the TVR Video how you can see my Gibbo style parking, I never normally park like that but for some reason it just felt right!

Looking forward to seeing some more pictures and finding out how Clown got on with his rear wiper.

Edit: OMG, Just seen Robbie doing who knows what to the exhaust pipe on my car at the very start of the TVR video!

I was taking a pic of your tip next to my fist :p

Sounds sociable....

Lol can't please everyone...you didn't even come to the meet.

Was a good day, still another hour to drive home as I'm having a Starbucks. Stopped off at beaconsfield on the way home to see a friend.

Thanks JP for the ride in the manual R8, and thewanted for the 300bhp S1. :D

And the AMG A45, sorry I don't know your username. :)

And first time I've sat in a BMW M5. ;)

Good to see you guys again. Sorry I didn't do any rides- still don't know the car well enough, and it was a bit too damp to do anything but a pootle up and down the lanes.

I am very disappointed in all of you... You told me not to worry about washing my car!!! :p

When I said it is dirty, I meant catastrophically dirty, and then you lot turned up with a little bit of dust on your sills!

Great meet, thanks all. Was a good day out, and nice to meet you all again. :)

I was the last one to leave in the end, must have been about half 6... :D

I think Teddy enjoyed her ride in JP's R8........

Good effort! Looked to be in very good condition.

This is a great advert if you've not seen it before: https://youtu.be/XXYVikpCxNo

I hadn't - that's a great advert. It's a shame that it seems the adverts aren't allowed to convey a sense of speed any more, 'cause that's ace.

I'm still really impressed with the overall condition. For a 16 year old car the bodywork is absolutely fantastic - way better than the 2006 Z4 it replaced, and the same can be said for the interior quality.

Just needs to be a smidge louder I reckon, but I'll get used to it first I think.
