OcUK Curborough Sprint Circuit - Thursday 27th September 2018

Phew just got home, heading straight back out. But will be sorting the videos I took tomorrow.

Perfect weather, what a great day. I may have finished the day with donut shaped burnout

Thank you to everyone who made the effort, who gave passenger rides, who got food, etc. etc. You're all legends.

Note to self, don't go backwards with drones. Again my sincere apologies :(

Yes, thanks @ScoobyDoo69 for organising the day.

@Frozennova cheers for the meth! I owe you one.

@miclol , sorry i never got round to talking to you, i still dont know which fella you was and when i eventually asked they said you had left.

Awesome day, thanks guys! Great bunch!

Thanks to @Micloi for letting me have a go in his 500. Fun car, lots of go but how they can get the pedals so right and the gearstick so wrong is typical Italian epicness in car design :D

Absolutely awesome day, good to see everybody again and the weather was excellent, a tad unexpected?!

Happy with how the Scooby performed today. Haven't been too impressed with the CL RC5+ pads on the road, they seem to come and go and don't really inspire much confidence when breaking hard. Much much better today though and they showed no signs of fade even after quite a hard session, still giving a nice firm pedal. Maybe they just needed some good heat cycles to bed them in properly.

Thanks to @Rybo89 for letting me steal the keys to his car! And thanks @Frozennova for attempting to read my ABS DTCs. Oddly, after not showing the ABS light all day it came on as soon as I got on the motorway. It seems that the light will come on if you gradually accelerate past 65mph but if you accelerate quickly, either up through the gears or dropping a few cogs while at speed, the light doesn't show. Very strange!

Thanks as always Kosta for organising!

Didn't take any pictures/videos other than my in car camera, but there were plenty of other people recording so hopefully some good footage.

Got home in perfect time yesterday.

Thanks for organising Kosta - and thanks to Tom and Andy for the passenger laps! I'm a bit pink from the sun today :p

Hi there

Kosta - Thanks for sorting!
Mother nature - Thank you for incredible weather, am a touch warm today, mild sunburn. :D

Thanks to Luke and Mich for passing me the keys to their properly sorted little hot hatches, great to compare against the Clio.

Remember guys, NO DRIFTING! ;)

Had a good day out, thanks for sorting it Kosta. Good to see everybody, it's been a while. Thanks to those who gave me passenger rides. Sorry I bought an unreliable car and wasn't able to give more passenger rides myself. Barely made it home lol.

P.s. the return to powerstation sounds good. I'm on board.

Here's one of my sessions, apologies for the camera location and wind noise. Had to set the camera up quickly when I realised nobody was on the track.

Couple of launches, few occasions where the back end stepped out a little... overall, a lot of fun! I was definitely more conservative on the throttle during the tighter bits, having ruined a 6 month old Eagle F1 last year by being too heavy footed :o

Going to focus on a couple of handling mods before the next event. ARBs and some polybushes I think.
